ABOUT THE PRODUCT

The radiant-C super blend contains 8.5% Vitamin-C derivatives that are ultrastable and does not lose their potency compared to the normal Vitamin-C. Melasolv is a proprietary ingredient from LANEIGE that has the same brightening effect as niacinamide using 20x less the amount. Vitamin E works synergistically with Vitamin-C to boost the antioxidant effects.

FIRST IMPRESSION

Radian-C Cream with Vitamin C

This cream only comes in one size, Size: 1.0 oz/ 30 mL. I got it at Sephora for $46.00 CAD or $35.00 USD. The packaging is very nice. The container is very heavy. I feel like instead of focusing on the packaging, they should have spent that time adding more products. for the price and the quantity, I normally would not buy it. But because of the quality of the product, I did.

The scent of this product is very refreshing. It smells of revitalizing oranges. Normally I am very picky about fragrance in anything I put on my face but this was a nice change. The smell even seems to go away after a while but the moisture stays. I really liked the texture of this moisturizer. Despite its slightly thick consistency, (a little goes a long way) it applies very smoothly and absorbs quickly.

My skin certainly looked refreshed after using this product for several days. I particularly like to wear a lighter layer in the morning because my sunscreen is super thick. It also helps with the irritation that I get from wearing masks all day. I’m more liberal with the amount I apply in the evening and it works beautifully overnight – my skin always looks well nourished, soft, and smooth the next morning. Lastly, I really enjoyed the packaging and the fact that it came with a small spoon. It is a sturdy glass container which felt very good quality.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I do and it’ll definitely be something I pick up during the spring sale unless I run out before then. If you don’t want to put in a Vitamin-C serum and a moisturizer, I recommend this product because it has both.
